Breast Surgery Yorkshire

Breast Surgery in Leeds, Yorkshire

Over 30% of women in the UK have considered undergoing breast surgery, at some point in their lives. This is attributable to the fact that the way a woman’s breasts look has a significant impact on her confidence. At Yorkshire Cosmetics, we are committed to helping women make positive changes towards the appearance of their breasts. Be it, Breast Augmentation, Reduction, Uplift, or Asymmetry, you can be rest assured you are in the hands of the finest plastic surgeons Yorkshire has to offer.

Here’s a list of procedures that we offer:

buletBreast Augmentation (Breast Enlargement)

Breast augmentation is one of the most frequently performed cosmetic surgery procedures with a very high satisfaction rate. This form of surgery, also known as a “boob job”, gives small or unevenly sized breasts a fuller, firmer, better-proportioned look through the placement of implants in the breast.  We give sound advice on the enhanced size that would suit your body shape.

Implants usually comprise of silicone shells filled either saline or silicone gel and are placed behind each breast, underneath the breast tissue or the chest wall muscle. The surgery itself may take approximately 1-2 hours and is performed under general anaesthesia.

Breast enlargement surgery can also be done in conjunction with procedures like a breast lift.

buletBreast Reduction

A significant number of women with a large bust often feel self conscious and are also troubled by back and shoulder pain, indentations from bra straps, skin rashes, breathing problems and skeletal deformities. Although a Breast Reduction surgery is generally done to provide physical relief and not for cosmetic reasons, it also creates a more uplifted, firmer and proportionate appearance.

Breast reduction surgeries normally take between 2 - 4 hours depending on the extent of the reduction. This surgery too like, augmentation, is performed under general anaesthesia. The procedure involves the removal of fat and glandular tissue and trims resultant excess skin to produce smaller, lighter breasts that are in a healthier proportion to the rest of the body. The cosmetic surgeon will reposition your nipple and areola to fit with your new breast shape and to give the breasts a more natural appearance.

buletBreast Uplift (Mastopexy)

Breast uplift is performed to restore the youthful shape and lift the breasts. The procedure is suited for women who have undergone rapid weight loss, pregnancy or simply ageing and the effects of gravity. Uplift surgery can be very effective because it restores fullness of the breasts and gives a youthful and pert appearance. This type of surgery can be done alongside breast augmentation or without making any alterations to the size.

The surgery itself lasts between 1 to 3 hours and is done under general anaesthesia.

buletMacrolane Breast Enlargement

This type of procedure is an alternative solution to that of breast augmentation. This is suited for women looking for subtle enlargement without going in for a surgery. Since Macrolane facilitates minor enlargement, those with a size A cup, wishing to go up to a B cup, or from B to C would find this procedure suited for them because they will not be required to consider breast augmentation surgery.

buletBreast Asymmetry

Everyone has a minor degree of asymmetry between their left and right breasts, but in some cases this misalignment tends to be more pronounced and noticeable, causing a degree of self-consciousness. This difference can be due to varying size of the breasts, the shape or also the position of the nipple to a varying degree.

Small degrees of asymmetry, where the difference is due to difference in volume, can be treated using different sized implants. However, an expander implant may produce better results because it allows for finer volume adjustment after the surgery.
